The New Year marks a fresh start – a whole new blank sheet of opportunity to be filled.
There are all kinds of things we can start doing…and stop doing…to make our work lives more fulfilling and satisfying.
What’s on your list? When you consider it from a professional point of view, what kinds of things are you ready to commit to that will make your year a fabulous one?
To get this conversation rolling, we wanted to share what’s on top of our own list ~ Sparxx’ New Year’s Resolutions:
- CONNECT MORE: Reach out to folks we know (and even folks we don’t) to learn, share and explore new possibilities. Our company is built upon tapping into and sparking the power of connections. Yet, we realize that while we facilitate this connection-sparking process for our clients, we have not been as good as we can be about facilitating these for ourselves. As the New Year approaches, we decided it’s time we step it up and make more effort, big and small, to connect with others to deepen and extend the value we can bring to our clients.
- EXPLORE DEEPER: We challenge ourselves to s-t-r-e-t-c-h our minds, open our eyes and commit our hearts to try new things, learn new things and create new things. It is so easy and comfortable to doze into “automatic pilot” mode. We vow to continue to be actively engaged in the art of curiosity and use it to enhance all that we do.
We put this in writing because there is something very powerful about sharing commitments with others. It requires us to take ownership. It makes us accountable. This firm commitment also sets the stage and opens the pathway for it to unfold.
